Samsung Electronics Australia has launched a new online portal to provide small to medium business (SMB) and enterprise partners with a central resource to access training and accreditation, and product and marketing information.
The portal will enable partners to request loan devices for customer trials, register deals, view sales revenue success, request pricing for new business opportunities, and track marketing funding.
Partners registered for the portal are able to upload their profile and contact information to be displayed in a partner locator which aims to assist customers in locating and identifying suitable partners.
According to Samsung Electronics Australia enterprise and SMB director, Natasha Datos, the online portal is part of the vendor's strategy to work with partners in an integrated manner to deliver solutions for customers.
She said the service's benefit lies in increasing the speed at which Samsung can respond to and support partners.
The introduction of the partner portal follows the launch of Samsung's Business Partner Program which is part of the Samsung Team of Empowered Partners (STEP) initiative.
Launched in July, the program intends to assist partners in integrating Samsung technology within their own product and solutions portfolios. It includes access to solutions architects and engineering, sales and marketing support, and market insights throughout the sales cycle.
