IT management tools distributor, TrackITOnline, has continued its Australian and New Zealand (A/NZ) expansion with the addition of CTERA Networks to its vendor portfolio.
CTERA is a Cloud storage platform based on underlying EMC and IBM infrastructure. It intends to enable managed services providers (MSPs) and enterprises to deploy Cloud storage applications, including branch-level Cloud storage gateways, secure enterprise file sync and share (EFSS) and hybrid backup.
The agreement will allow TrackITOnline to sell CTERA's full portfolio to its resellers and MSPs across the region.
According to CTERA Australia managing director, Craig Stockdale, the platform allows MSPs to sell a solution which includes automated hybrid (local and Cloud) data backup, recovery for servers running iOS, Linux, or Windows, backup for workstations and roaming laptops running either iOS or Windows.
Commenting on the partnership, TrackITOnline director, Phil Lancaster, said, "CTERA bridges the gap between Cloud and local storage, providing optimised performance and end-to-end security."
"Its solutions accelerate deployment of Cloud storage services and eliminate the costs associated with file servers, backup servers, and tape drives."
