Now come on. There really is no excuse for not backing up any of your digital data, whether it's photos, video, your household accounts or letters to your bank manager.
If you have a problem with your hard drive it'll be gone forever unless you've taken preventative steps. If we've told you once, we've told you a million times – the most important thing about computing is backing up your data. And the second most important thing? Backing up your data. And the third? Well, you get the picture.
So I nearly hit the roof when I saw this report that suggests that about a third of digital camera users don't back up their snaps. To use an analogy that old-school photographers will relate to, this is the equivalent of trying to develop your pictures in broad daylight – sheer idiocy.
But it seems I'm wasting my breath, so all that remains for me to do is point those of you who will listen in the direction of PC Advisor's very own Digital Photography Advisor section – there you will find all sorts of information and tips that'll help you become a better digital photographer and get more out of your snaps.
