Vodafone has confirmed its 4G LTE network will launch this month so here's everything you need to know.
It's been a long wait but we're finally at the stage where the UK will soon have more than one 4G LTE network. EE has been around since last year and O2 has announced it will launch its 4G service this month.

Vodafone Red 4G: Release date
Like O2, Vodafone will switch on its 4G network on 29 August. However, 4G-ready plans will be available from 12 August.
Vodafone Red 4G: Tariffs, prices and extras
Vodafone Red 4G-ready tariffs will come in three sizes: Vodafone Red 4G (starting £34pm), Red 4G L (starting £39pm) and Red 4G XL (starting £44pm). These will have double the data allowance of the regular 3G Red plans, but the firm hasn't announced prices yet.
Those with a 4G-ready phone can get a SIM-only deal from £26 per month.
Existing Vodafone Red customers with a 4G-ready device can upgrade to 4G for only £5 per month extra on top of their existing plan.
To lure customers Vodafone is offering anyone signing up to or upgrading to a 4G tariff free access to Spotify Premium or Sky Sports Mobile TV. It will be free for the first six months on Red 4G and SIM-only tariffs while the 'L' and 'XL' packages which will get it for two years.
Vodafone Red 4G: Locations
On 29 August, Vodafone's 4G network will go live in London only. However, it has said a further 12 cities will be added by the end of the year.
