Of the 1,177 respondents, 22.3 percent named Google Android as their next smartphone OS, while 21.9 percent plumped for Apple iOS.
"I'm gonna stick with Android," wrote forum member AL47. "iPhone OS is too restrictive, Win Mobile doesn't have a good track record, but they always seem behind the others anyway, BlackBerry isn't for me... the others aren't well supported."
BlackBerry was closely behind in third place, with 16.7 percent of votes, with HP webOS in fourth (9.6 percent).
Microsoft's newly launched Windows Phone 7 polled a disappointing 9.1 percent, while Symbian picked up 8.2 percent of votes.
