Carphone Warehouse has announced it will open stand-alone Samsung stores across Europe.
The firm has signed a preferred-partner agreement with Samsung which will see it operate 60 Samsung only stores. The experience will be similar to the Apple Store but customers will be able to buy Samsung smartphones, tablets, laptops and wearables.

Carphone Warehouse said the stores will have a 'premium look' and be rolled out in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Sweden and the Netherlands over the next three months. It follows the opening of three stand-alone stores in Spain last year.

Apple has seen much success with its dedicated stores which attract hoards of customers when new products are launched. Carphone Warehouse and Samsung say this alliance will strengthen both companies position calling it a 'powerful new retail concept' which will inject investment and jobs into the sector.
