Leslie Jones writes: "Following your tip 'See your house' (PC Advisor issue 134, page 152), I obtained the VirtualEarth plug-in. In the plug-ins window the file proj.dll shows as just proj – with VirtualEarth in a separate folder – and I receive the message 'Project plug-in failed to load'."
The reason proj.dll shows as just 'proj' is because Windows hides the extensions of known file types by default. But the reason the plug-in is failing is because proj.dll appears to be in the plug-ins folder. It should be in the parent WorldWind 1.3 folder.
To make installation of this plug-in easier, someone has created an automated installer for it. You can get the installer by clicking here. Try that instead and you should be able to see your house.
