Section 8: Prejudice is a very good shooter that packs a considerable amount of value into its $15 downloadable package. Up until now, though, only Xbox 360 and PC owners have been able to sample its shooty pleasures. On July 26, though, the game will launch on PSN, complete with new game mode Skirmish.
Those who purchase Section 8: Prejudice in its first week of release on PSN will receive the Blitz Armor Pack and Overdrive Map Pack for free -- these include two skins, early unlocks of equipment and abilities, and two new multiplayer maps. On top of this, the first 1,000 PlayStation Plus subscribers to purchase the game will receive in-game Hunter Amor as well as a free copy of the original Section 8 -- itself a pretty good game.
The new mode Skirmish, which will be available for all platforms once the PSN version releases, places up to 32 players in a team vs. team battle, with points awarded both for killing other players and completing dynamic mission objectives.
360 owners can also download the new Frontier Colonies Map Pack for 320 Microsoft Points today. The package contains two new maps and will also be available for PC on July 27.
