Fine Brothers Productions just laid a golden egg. One part 16-bit videogame complete with a 16-bit era soundtrack, one part classic early 90s sitcom, and three parts create-your-own-adventure, Saved by the Bell Interactive is a grand slam of nostalgia. Playing as Zach, you're given the option to help Jesse balance school and singing (see Jesse's caffeine pill freakout), help turn Screech into a stud so he can get laid Violet won't dump him, or help Kelly deal with the trauma of her dad losing his job. If you're a fan of the show you'll get a kick out of the attention to detail TheFineBros pay to the storylines and plot holes within the actual Saved By The Bell series.
Is it just me, or would anyone else buy this game in a heartbeat if Kairosoft marketed it as Pocket Academy 2: Bayside High?
