Konami is offering not one but two playable demos for its upcoming soccer game PES 2012, allowing players an early preview of the game and a new demo just prior to release.

Konami's pretty excited about its upcoming Pro Evolution Soccer 2012, particularly the new Teammate Control and Active AI features. As such, the company has decided that it will be releasing an early preview build to the public on August 24, giving fans an early taste of what to expect from the new features, and a second demo closer to the game's October release.

The first demo will be available on PSN, Xbox Live and PC. Players will be able to play as Manchester United?, AC Milan, FC Porto, SSC Napoli, Santos FC and CA Panarol in 10 minute matches. There will also be a selection of Challenge Training tasks available for players to get to grips with the new control systems.

The second demo will arrive in mid-September, again for PSN, Xbox Live and PC. This time around, players will be able to play 10 minute matches as Tottenham Hotspur, FC Bayern Munich?, FC Internazionale Milano, Rangers FC?, Club America? and Sport Club International. The later demo will apparently be more representative of the final game.

"We have spoken a lot about the new additions to PES 2012, and now we want users to see it for themselves," said Jon Murphy, European PES team leader. "By releasing a demo for preview purposes, we want people to get in early to try out the Teammate Control elements and to see for themselves how the Active AI works. We truly value the support and input of our user base -- and these demos are so they can see how their help has aided the most ambitious PES to date."
