The option to print out directory listings, or a list of the contents of a particular folder or collection of folders , is one that has been sadly lacking from Windows for several versions. This is something Directory Lister Pro aims to rectify, adding back the option along with a host of additional features that are sure to come in handy.
As well as performing basic listing tasks, the program can also be used to customise exactly what will be printed. In some instances, it may be enough to print nothing more than a name of the files and folders contained within a particular directory, while in others extra details such as extensions and file size may also be needed.
When it comes to multimedia files such as JPEGs, AVIs and MP3s, Directory Lister Pro can also be used to print out a list of file properties. The directing list printing option can be accessed from Windows' context menu, and can also be saved in HTML, CSV or text format.
Directory Lister Pro can also be used in a similar way to Windows Explorer so you can us the program to navigate through your files. When doing so, you also have the option of viewing details such as overall file size and sorting the display of files and folders according to size.
- Fixed minor bugs in shell extension and mpg parsing.
While Directory Lister Pro returns a much loved feature to Windows, this does come at something of a price.
