Best gifts for iPhone users: Apple Watch

The Apple Watch is a brilliant accessory for the iPhone and is bound to go down a treat this Christmas. It's a bit on the pricey side for a Christmas present so will need to be intended for someone you're willing to blow the budget on (or a sneaky treat for yourself).

The Apple Watch starts at £299 for the Sport model made with aluminium and a silicone band, but ranges all the way up to £12,000 if you opt for the gold Apple Watch Edition. We think we'll leave that to the celebrities, though.

You can find out more about the Apple Watch here.

Best gifts for iPhone users: Fitness trackers

If your budget can't stretch to the Apple Watch, why not consider another form of wearable tech like an activity tracker such as the Fitbit Charge HR, which currently sits at the top of our activity tracker chart. It offers real-time fitness stats on your wrist and can track your heart rate, too. It has an RRP of £119, but you can buy it for under £100 here.

For something a bit more specific and personal to your recipient, why not go for the Zepp Tennis Swing Analyser or one of Zepp's other sports trackers for golf, baseball and more. The Zepp Tennis Swing Analyser is £115 from Amazon, but you could win one as part of our huge Christmas gift bundle competition. Find out more here.

Best gifts for iPhone users: Speakers

Speakers are another iPhone accessory that make brilliant gifts, particularly as you can pick up some great options for under £100. Take the Envaya Mini from Denon, for example, which is one of our favourites and can be picked up for around £80.

You might also like the Fugoo + Style waterproof speaker for the more adventurous friends of yours, or the Jarre AeroSkull Nano for the stylish. You could win both the Fugoo + Style and the Jarre AeroSkull Nano in our Christmas competition here.

Best gifts for iPhone users: Headphones

Similarly, you can't go wrong with headphones as a gift, particularly if you're buying for a teenager whose parents are getting fed up of their kid's music choice. You can buy some great headphones for under £50, such as the Rock Jaw Alfa Genus V2s which are at the top of our budget headphones chart right now.

If your budget can stretch a bit further, we really like the Bowers & Wilkins P5 series 2 headphones, which are gorgeous and sound great too. You can buy them here.

Best gifts for iPhone users: Fun gadgets

Not so practical but certainly fun, robotic gadgets like the Parrot Jumping Sumo and the Sphero Star Wars BB-8 will be wrapped up beneath many Christmas trees this year.

The Parrot Jumping Sumo is £79.99 at IWOOT right now and is a brilliant gift for kids and big kids alike. iPad or iPhone controlled, the Parrot Jumping Sumo can go wherever you tell it to and can jump up to 80cm. It even has a built-in camera to let you stream and record footage straight to your iOS device.

The Star Wars BB-8 Sphero is a robotic ball that's controlled by your iPhone or iPad thanks to a dedicated app and comes complete with sound effects and a cute mind of its own. You can buy it for £129.99 from Firebox.

Best gifts for iPhone users: Instant printer

For anyone who loves taking photos with their iPhone, an instant printer could be just the thing they didn't know they needed. It lets you bypass a PC and print photos straight from your iPhone, and it'll transport you right back to the days when you loved the instant gratification of Polaroids, but this time you get to pick out the best photos to print to save paper.

We like the Fujifilm Instax Share, which is just over £100 at Amazon, but there are others that can be found for even cheaper if you shop around. See our round-up of the best smartphone instant printers for more.

Best gifts for iPhone users: iPhone case

You can never have too many iPhone cases, and it's always fun to change them up from time to time, so buying an iPhone case as a gift is a pretty safe bet. There are hundreds to choose from, though, so be sure to see our pick of the 33 best iPhone 6s cases here.

We particularly like Casetify's iPhone cases, which you can find here.

Best gifts for iPhone users: Desktop charger

Anything that makes charging our devices easier is a win in our eyes, so a desktop charger could be a good option. They're little boxes that can connect to a mains power source to offer five or six USB ports, meaning you can charge five or six devices at once just as quickly as they'd charge individually.

If you've got a friend or family member with not just an iPhone but a tablet, camera, e-reader and other gadgets too then a desktop charger will come in really handy. The Cygnett SuperCharger UFO is a good option, at £29.99. You can with the Cygnett SuperCharger UFO in our Christmas competition.

Best gifts for iPhone users: Power banks

Alternatively, how about a power bank? This is more for people who spend a lot of time out and about, perhaps at gigs or camping or travelling for long periods of time. A power bank can provide portable power to prolong an iPhones battery life significantly, in many cases adding a day or more before the iPhone runs out of juice.

A good option at the top of our power bank chart is the Zendure A2, which is just £25 from Amazon and hits the sweet spot in terms of capacity, performance, size, durability and price.

Best gifts for iPhone owners: iOS gaming accessories

If your iPhone-owning recipient likes a spot of gaming, then why not take a look at some of the gaming accessories that are growing in popularity for iOS users.

Take the Homido virtual reality headset, for example, which is £50 from Amazon. You can slot your iPhone into the front of the wireless headset and load up a VR game or app from the App Store to be transported to another place or time. It's a completely immersive experience that we expect will become more mainstream in gaming next year.
